The Best Party Restaurants in Tulum

If you are planning a trip to Tulum, you have probably heard about the party scene in the restaurants. With so much choice, this guide will help you to break down the best restaurants to visit for both great food and an unbeatable party experience.

Of course these are all based in the iconic Hotel Zone, offering glamour, luxury and plenty of sparklers!

While you’re here, don’t skip my guide to the Best Restaurants in Tulum or the Best Restaurants in Tulum Centro

Monday evening: IT

Azulik hosts daily sunset drinks from around 5pm – 8pm, with wal

An upmarket Italian restaurant in the Hotel Zone, IT hosts a lively Monday‑night event with a DJ playing electronic music to a stylish, high‑energy crowd. Monday’s tend to be pretty quiet in Tulum, so this is definitely the spot to go. What makes it truly special is the real Mexican cenote housed inside the restaurant – with tables thoughtfully arranged around it for an unforgettable dining setting. The food is exceptional: order the cacio e pepe, the steak, and whatever you do, do not skip the prawn tacos (they were the best we had all trip!). The party picks up from around 9pm and only gets livelier as the night goes on, so make sure you reserve a table. This is one you don’t want to miss.

Side note – this is under refurbishment due to reopen in the summer of 2026.k‑ins only if you’re not dining. Doors open at 5pm, and trust me, you need to be there just before opening. It’s extremely popular, and the treetop layout means capacity is limited.

Expect a queue, but the payoff is worth it.

Entry costs around 1,000 MXN (~£40) and includes one welcome drink. Once inside, you’ll climb the famous winding wooden walkways into Azulik’s sculptural rooftop space. The architecture is insane –  I’ve truly never experienced anything like it. Think curved timber tunnels, nets suspended over the jungle, and open‑air platforms that catch the light as the sun drops behind the trees.

Rosa Negra

If there is one place to romanticise your Tulum trip, this is it. N

If you’re looking for one of Tulum’s most glamorous dining experiences, Rosa Negra delivers the full show. Think fire sparklers, live performers, and a stylish crowd that treats dinner like an event. This is where you go when you want great food and a nightlife vibe in one place.

The menu leans Latin‑American with premium cuts, fresh seafood, and bold flavours. The Wagyu steak, truffle risotto, and fresh ceviches are consistent favourites, while the tuna tiradito and octopus anticucho are standout starters. Their cocktails are theatrical and pricey, but genuinely delicious. As the night goes on, the energy builds: expect DJs, percussionists, and a fun party atmosphere which also stays classy. Add this to your itinerary for your next visit to Tulum!

estled on top of the jungle with an incredible sunset, the DJ plays electronic house music in a relaxed environment. The crowd is stylish and cool, and the overall vibe screams bohemian idyllism. And if you don’t believe me – check the pictures below for yourself.

It really is a bucket‑list moment.

Ilios

For a glamorous dinner experience with Mediterranean flair, Ilios Tulum is one of the standout restaurants in the hotel zone. In fact, if you can only go to one place, this should be it. Ilios is the ultimate party spot in Tulum. Hosting daily dinner and dance rituals, this Greek restaurant is the place to be if you want to be up on your feet having a real fun night!  And of course, it wouldn’t be a Greek restaurant if it didn’t involve a plate smashing ceremony.

The saganaki cheese flambé, lamb chops, and sea bass carpaccio are amazing, while the truffle hummus and octopus are must‑try starters.

Ilios isn’t cheap, but it’s perfect for a night when you want to dress up and enjoy a lively, elegant dinner with a built‑in party feel.

Casa Jaguar

For one of Tulum’s most atmospheric jungle restaurants, Casa Jaguar is a must. Set among palm trees and candlelight, it delivers that signature Tulum boho‑lux vibe – rustic, intimate, and effortlessly cool. It’s the kind of place where you come for dinner and end up staying for the music.

Casa Jaguar focuses on wood‑fired, locally inspired dishes. The whole grilled fish, octopus, and seasonal ceviches are favourites, while the mezcal cocktails are some of the best in the area.

On certain nights, the back bar hosts DJs and late‑night jungle parties, making it a great spot if you want a restaurant that transitions naturally into nightlife. It’s stylish, social, and one of the most iconic evening experiences in Tulum’s Hotel Zone.
